Some posts are simply a thank-you. This one is a handful of photos and one sentence: thanks for all my friends.

Why saying thank you is worth the time
Research on gratitude, including studies by Robert Emmons and Michael McCullough, found that people who regularly wrote down things they were thankful for tended to report somewhat higher well-being than those who did not. The effects are modest and not the same for everyone, but the habit is free, quick and kind to the people it names.
A Cup for This Story
- A small handful of fresh mint leaves
- A slice of lemon
- Hot water, steeped for 5 minutes
Drink it while writing a short message to one friend. Herbal teas are a comforting ritual, not medicine.
