The final rain washes away the memory,
of summer fading, a sweet harmony.
The long days and the burning heat,
a closed book, a dream so sweet.
September knocks, with silent pace,
the heart’s new rhythm finds its place.
Like a brush, it changes every hue,
repainting the soul, fresh and new.
Saying goodbye to the sun’s bright light,
leaving a scent that holds the night.
And so one cycle ends, a new one starts,
with brand new pages for open hearts.
